You won't be sorry! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by seekinggames from First player The different scenes of play each have a different level of difficultly. Some were very easy and some are fustrating. My least enjoyable was the forest. Its the most challenging just because you get turned around and can not keep track what direction you are heading.
The closer one gets to finding the objects you need in the forest the faster one gets caught. Beyond Atlantis had puzzles that were much more difficult. The puzzles in the game are ok. Not too difficult nor too easy. The 3D, degree viewing is very nice. Rated 5 out of 5 by Kingdomchan from Absolutely amazing!
I completely adore this game! It's so much fun and the storyline really does suck you in. It's not always easy finding everything you need especially in the jungle but I love exploring and interacting in this game.
The details and graphics are wonderfully done and the scenes look beautiful. It's a challenging game and I can't wait to play another like it. Rated 4 out of 5 by stewie9 from Not the best-Not the worst The game does have its ups and downs but in the end I did enjoy the gameand would buy again. Since there are only 3 reviewers before me, I am going to go off them.
The forest parts do take time and are frustrating, but with many adventure games you first have to learn your environment, and always be looking around and for subtle clues within the game. The main game itself is many scenerios were you have to find a way out or in or through. Which in my opinion was very fun and somewhat challenging. The mini games are like old school arcade games, if nothing else it makes you laugh and relax for a moment. All in all I enjoyed the game and am going to recommend it.
If you are still reading, it really upset me off to see how well the so called "gods" lived so well, while the "servants" lived Rated 2 out of 5 by BeInformed from I just can't get into this game, it is way to old. Wow when this game came out I bet it was a bit of a challenge.
But I just do not like it at all. Very tedious and at time boring. It simply did not run very well. This one should be retired from the library. Rated 1 out of 5 by QueenRhen from Refused to play This game is massive to download and took over 20 minutes to download on a very new and up-to-date computer and after it had finally finished, I went to play it and it just froze.
I had to restart my computer. I then tried again and yet again it froze. I'm not going to bother to try again. I have deleted the game and am beyond disappointed. Seemed like a good game, instead it almost caused my new computer to crash. This game doesn't deserve any stars. The Big Fish Guarantee: Quality tested and virus free. No ads, no adware, no spyware. From this point on, we didn't like Atlantis one bit. There's nothing wrong with point-and-click per se, it's just that like other near-obsolete genres such as the 2D shoot 'em up and pinball sim, it takes something out of the ordinary to make them appealing in this day and age.
Atlantis lacks that certain something. In droves. Sure, the static visuals are well drawn, but as soon as anything has to move it all starts looking ropey. OK, the story might satisfy wide-eyed 11 year olds, but the scripting, voice acting and attempts at humour are risible. And unlike Mysterious Island - another point-and-clicker released by The Adventure Company and reviewed on this page - the fantastical setting of Atlantis means the puzzles are even more mind-numbingly obscure than usual for the genre.
