On tight tracks, front-wheel drive is better; on straight tracks with gentle corners, rear-wheel drive is better because it allows you to slide; front-wheel drive will drag youthrough the tight stuff.
All-wheel drives are OK, but outside the Nissans and the Batmobile, aren't really anything to write home about. They may have raw firepower, but they either can't transfer all of it to the road, or they can't handle the car as effectively as a less powerful model might.
I still don't know how to drift. WhatI do notice is that HP seems to be disproportinately important here. I find that the Monaro again is the best to use for Drifting, as its power, acceleration, and handling are top-notch. Hope that helps a little.
